It’s back again! End of the year activity by Hino Motors Sales (Thailand) Ltd. known as Hino TS was held for skills competition in sale, parts inventory management and services. The competition emphasized systematic skills development for sale, parts inventory management and services in order to get ready for providing support to our clients’ businesses under Total Support policy. This year, it was the 28th Hino Total Support Contest.
On December 2nd, 2022, the Hino Total Support Contest was organized at Hino Logistics and Training Center of Hino Motors Sales (Thailand) Ltd. Bang Sai, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province. It was set out to appraise capacity of Hino’s dealers from all over the country in developing skills of their employees. Skills contest covered appraisal of theory and practice in sales, spare parts and services. It aimed to further improve skills of employees of Hino’s dealers underlying the tests similar to real-life situations while employees providing services. Therefore, they could consider apply their skills to solve problems in their work efficiently. For this year, Mr. Ken Iwamoto, President of Hino Motors Sales (Thailand) Ltd., Mr. Hiroshi Semba, President of Hino Motors Asia Ltd., and Mr. Keiichi Yoshimura, Senior Vice President, Mitsui & Co., (Thailand) Ltd., and Mr. Jessada Chanurai, Director of Skills Standard and Testing Development jointly presided over the opening ceremony and delivered opening remarks. The event was honorably joined and supported by their business partners.
Mr. Ken Iwamoto, President of Hino Motors Sales (Thailand) Ltd. said he was very pleased that the situation got back to normal and essential activities could be conducted. The company has prepared to cope with any kind of change as they learned from the Covid-19 situation. They had to adjust their services to serve their clients including sale and after-sales services.
Considered as an essential activity for Hino family, the Hino TS has been arranged continuingly, not just for Thailand, but also well-recognized among all Hino offices around the globe. Hino did not intend to search for the best employees in each category of the contest namely sale, parts inventory management, and services; but actually, Hino wanted competitors to take their knowledge and experience from this contest back to apply in their services to clients. Importantly, they should gradually improve and learn skills until they win the hearts of their clients.
By this means, they could keep clients’ loyalty and impression to Hino. This was the key concept of the contest. Though some competitors might not receive any award, it was believed that they would take something bigger back and be proud of themselves even more.
In the evening, after the contest, there was an awards ceremony and reception at Vayupak Hall, Centra by Centara Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre Chaeng Watthana. The winners this year received cash prizes, medals, and honorary flags. Furthermore, Hino also threw a concert of Zani, Nipaporn Thititanakarn to entertain and express gratitude to all participants and competitors.
The company hoped that the contest would help develop skill standard and testing, that would benefit the competitors themselves. They are the important personnel, who would move forward the development of commercial-vehicle business. They could help Hino to become a transformational leader in the commercial-vehicle business and a partner in our clients’ businesses. In addition, this activity is considered an efficient way to enhance skill standard and testing continuously for the most effective performance. Eventually, it would contribute to the development and flourishment of the country.
